Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Unveiled with Snapdragon 855 SoC & 12GB RAM

Lenovo has announced Z5 Pro GT smartphone in China today which will be sporting the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC and also up to 12GB of RAM. The device will be available in Carbon Black color variant with carbon fiber finish and under the glass, it has Red and Black accents giving it an elegant look. The company has also announced that the 12GB RAM variant will let its users open 50 applications simultaneously.

The handset will be sporting an Octa-core Snapdragon 844 7nm SoC with one 2.84GHz Kryo 485, three 2.42 GHz Kryo 485 and four 1.80GHz Kryo 485 cores coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. The handset will be available on 6GB / 8GB RAM options with 128GB of storage and also 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage. There is also a 12GB RAM variant which will come with 512GB of internal memory.


Out of the box, it will be sporting Android 9.0 Pie Operating system with ZUI 10 on top. There is a 16MP camera sensor on the rear with Sony IMX519, Dual-tone LED flash couple with 24MP secondary Sony IMX576 sensor. On the front, we can find a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture size which will be accompanied with a secondary 8P IR camera which will be used for face unlocking.

The company has pushed in an in-display fingerprint sensor on this Lenovo Z5 Pro GT smartphone and has a 3350mAh battery on the back with fast-changing support. The handset supports Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity and has other connectivity options like USB Type-C, NFC, GPS, A-GPS and more. The basic 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option is priced at 2689 Yuan (approx Rs. 29,000) while the next 8GB RAM with 128GB storage will cost 2998 Yuan (approx Rs. 35,000).

The top end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage will be priced at 4398 Yuan (approx Rs. 45,000) and will be going for order in China starting from 15th of January and go for sale from 24th of January. Are you planning to get this device from Lenovo?
